Rebeads® Mag Oligo dT

Oligo(dT)-coated magnetic beads enable isolation and extraction of mRNA from diverse sample types. Under standard hybridization conditions, polyadenylated RNA (poly-A+ RNA) binds specifically to the oligo(dT) groups. Other RNA species, including rRNA and tRNA, lack poly-A+ sequences and therefore do not bind to the beads. The beads separate rapidly and completely in a magnetic field, yielding highly pure mRNA that can be used directly for cloning and expression analysis.

1. Operations such as freezing, drying and centrifugation may cause bead aggregation, making resuspension and dispersion difficult.
2. Thoroughly vortex the product before use to ensure a homogeneous suspension.
3. High-quality pipette tips and reaction tubes are recommended to avoid loss caused by adhesion of beads and solution.
