Rebeads DNA Size Selection Kit

The sorting capability of fragment selection magnetic beads from three batches was tested. 50 µL identical samples were incubated with magnetic beads at the specified ratio and then washed. The isolated fragments were analyzed by gel electrophoresis to verify the integrity of target bands.

The results show that:

The DNA recovery rate and fragment recovery range of in-house manufactured magnetic beads are comparable to the control beads.

Three batches of self-produced magnetic beads present minor batch-to-batch variation, indicating stable production processes.

Operations suchs as freezing, drying and centrifugation may cause magnetic bead aggregation, leading to poor resuspension and dispersion.

Vortex thoroughly before use to ensure uniform suspension of magnetic beads.

Use high-quality pipette tips and reaction tubes to prevent sample loss caused by adhesion of magnetic beads and solution.
